Seasonal Southern cooking made with locally-sourced ingredients, served in the heart of downtown.
The Green Table started with a simple idea: serve food that celebrates where it comes from. Chef Anna Morales spent 10 years in fine dining kitchens before coming home to open a restaurant that puts Southern ingredients center stage.
Every week, we source from over a dozen local farms and purveyors within 50 miles. Our menu changes with the seasons, so there's always something new to discover — and something familiar to come back to.
Slow-cooked for 8 hours in a red wine reduction, served over creamy stone-ground grits with roasted heirloom carrots. A guest favorite since day one, made with grass-fed beef from Patterson Family Farm.
A little more to look forward to every visit.

Reviews from our favorite food critics — our guests.
"The shrimp and grits alone are worth the drive from Raleigh. Everything tastes like it was picked that morning — because it probably was. This is what farm-to-table is supposed to be."
"We had our anniversary dinner here and it was perfect. The braised short ribs were incredible, the wine list is well-curated, and the service was attentive without being intrusive."
"Sunday brunch here is a must. The chicken and waffles are divine, and the bottomless mimosas don't hurt either. The space is beautiful and the staff genuinely cares."
